Wefox broker portal is a digital tool that allow brokers working all over Germany to sell insurances in an easy and quick way.
Background
Wefox pivoted to sell car insurances on the Q3 and the goal is that by Q4 we were able to deploy an MVP because the car insurances high selling season is December.

Interactive mock-up testing and discovery
We organized a workshop with the teams of customer support and sales to have a better grasp of our user’s needs.
Thanks to this workshops, we ended up with an interactive mock-up that could operate the basic calculations that the agents needed to test the insurances.
This interactive mock-up helped us to test and iterate quickly to have a very agile approach and develop the first delivery with our very tight delivery calendar.
Design system
The main objetctive of the design system was to implement something super quiclky and where we could iterate to improve without too much development, this is why we choose the material design system to build upon.


UI first delivery
Through collaboration with stakeholders, workshops and testing sessions with end-users, we successfully created the first version of the Wefox Broker Portal. By gathering feedback and insights directly from users, we tailored the portal to meet their needs.

This page was the main operational page that brokers needed to complete as quickly and as accurate as possible.
Conclusions
Having stakeholders that where super involved in getting users to test in very early stage was a huge game changer to move as quickly as we did. It is super important to invest time to build good relationships with business and align from the get-go, all the time you invest in building this relationship will be time you will definitely save in the future.
Outcomes
- The team was able to develop a very fast solutions that allowed the insurance brokers to sell the vehicle insurance in the peak season (December)
- Insurance brokers where super pleased with the ease of the tool
- We manage to roll-out the vehicle insurance in a record time for the company
